Psst! Girls, here are five big threats to your man’s fragile ego

Girl Talk
The enormous male ego is going to be the death of us!

Nowadays, the very existence of modern, strong, free-thinking women is seen as a threat to ‘manliness’.

Smart, accomplished women have to walk on eggshells when around their men, lest they consciously or unconsciously emasculate them.

Anything you do is seen as emasculating to men. Heck, even the way you breathe has an emasculating effect on your man!

Apparently, being a macho man is an intrinsically superior gift of strength and wisdom bestowed on men that women must stroke and honour — an admittedly tall order.

It is not a woman’s fault that you feel like less of a man. Here are some of the ridiculous things men deem as threats to the precious male ego.

Earning more money than him

I don’t understand why a woman out-earning her man should cause havoc in the relationship. The shift in economic power means more and more women are reaching parity and even surpassing men in the corporate world and that is just something the male ego will have to contend with.

A woman won’t automatically lose respect for you just because she is raking in more dough. Men need to get it through their thick heads that a woman’s status as the primary earner does not affect the dynamics of the relationship. So don’t expect a woman to mindlessly shower you with compliments and appreciation, just because you are intimidated by her business acumen.

Be more sexually

experienced than him

Men are overly concerned about their partners sexual history and how it stacks up to theirs. A Woman has to lie about her ‘number’ just so she won’t make her man feel inadequate.

I understand that sex is a huge part of a man’s mind, but I honestly don’t understand what the big deal is when a woman is more sexually experienced than him. Your masculinity should not be fazed by her number.

On the contrary, you should count yourself lucky to score a lady who knows her stuff in the bedroom. As they say, practice makes perfect. You are pretty much guaranteed of mind blowing sex.

Offer him any

self-improvement advice

Due to the fragile nature of the male ego, it is practically impossible to offer him any kind of self-improvement advice without making him feel inadequate. What is so wrong about a woman wanting his man to change for the better? We all have flaws and imperfections.

We are diamonds in the rough that need a bit of polishing to become better versions of ourselves. Don’t expect your woman to stay quiet when you are walking around looking like a hobo just so she doesn’t crush your ego.

Do not mistake her pursuit to help you become a better man as an emasculating tactic.

Admitting that you’ve

seen bigger ‘packages’

The center of a man existence is his penis. Men are obsessed with the size of their joysticks. You can wreck a man’s self-esteem in minutes if you let it out that you have been with a man with a bigger manhood than him.

It really should not matter that her last boyfriend was hung like a horse. The size of your schlong should not be tied to your self-worth. No woman should have to lie that her current boyfriend is the biggest she has ever been with just to stroke his ego.

Be disinterested in sex

The modern woman is stressed, tired and rushed. She have to juggle between raising a family and building a career.

Sometimes when she comes home after a hard day at work, the last thing she wants to do is have sex. She is simply not in the mood. Men interpret this lack of interest in sex to mean that they are not desirable enough to their partners, which is not true.

Sometimes she is simply not just in the mood and it has nothing to do with you.
