DCI detectives recover three motor vehicles and assorted spare parts

The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) on Friday, October 18, 2019, recovered three motor vehicles and assorted spare parts in Nakuru County.

According to the DCI, the motor vehicles and parts believed to be acquired illegally were found in a residential house in Barnabas area.

“THREE M/VEHICLES & Assorted Spare Parts were recovered Yesterday by Flying Squad Detectives in an intelligence-led operation” tweeted the DCI.

Flying squad detectives arrested one suspect in connection to the vehicles.

Through their twitter account, the DCI said that the assorted spare parts include shredded Sudanese registration number plates.

“The vehicles which are believed to have been ILLEGALLY acquired were recovered from a residential house in Barnabas area”

“Among the spare parts were various M/Vehicle Reg. Numbers, Pieces of metal-bearing Numerals 0-8 & Alphabets A-Z, Engine blocks, metal sheets bearing Chassis numbers & shredded Sudanese registration number plates” added the DCI

The arrested suspect was taken into police custody and the vehicles detained pending further investigations.
