Anthony Odhiambo scored a last minute penalty as Impala Saracens rallied from behind to beat KCB 11-10 in an Enterprise Cup semi final at the Impala Club yesterday.

The Frank Ndong’-coached side booked a spot in the final where they will face Kabras Sugar on May 25.

Following a scoreless opening quarter, the home side, who had made four changes to their starting line up, broke the deadlock through a Quinto Ongo penalty.

Impala’s lead was short-lived as KCB hit back three minutes later through Curtis Lilako’s try which was converted by Jacob Ojee.

The bankers would be dealt a numerical blow as one of their key men Davis Chenge was sent to the sin-bin for a reckless tackle on Steve Keter.

Ojee extended KCB’s lead with a penalty before Billy Omondi tore through the bankers defence to land an unconverted try.

The two sides traded penalties at the start of the second half but neither could make the opportunity count as Ongo and Shaban Ahmed failed to find the target.

In another semi final, Kabras Sugar thrashed Kenya Harlequin 54-11 at the RFUEA grounds.

Quins were sluggish in the early exchanges and they were made to pay dearly with Fijian Jone Kubu punishing their poor defending.
