As usual followers of Prophet Dr Owuor swept the streets of Eldoret in readiness for his recent ‘National Thanksgiving Meeting’ at the Eldoret Sports Club. The faithful spread their clothes and tree branches on the road.
But beyond the pomp of police chase cars with headlight on, sirens blaring were miracles from the leader of the Holiness and Repentance Ministry. Take Samwel Waweru and his wife Elizabeth Wanjiku.
These couple from Kakamega waited to have a baby this April after 15 years through prayers.
“Every pregnancy miscarried and for over ten years we stayed without a baby, but after Dr Owour’s prayers my wife became pregnant last year and we are now happy with our baby Emmanuel ‘God with us’,” said Waweru.
Ken Mutwiri recounted how he was cured through prayers after he fell from second floor and fractured his skull in Nairobi. “I am healed and its only God that has seen this happen, I lost my memory and speech but I am now better,’ said the 32-year old.
Wellington Otieno from Kericho said: “My wife ran away and I was forced to stay with my two children because of the wounds in my leg, they started healing after I attended prayers in Naivasha and later in Kisumu,” said the 45-year old, who had suffered for 19 years.
