Should I give my ex a second chance?

I had dated my ex for a year and a half before she broke up with me out of the blues. She gave me some stupid excuses about wanting to follow her dreams before settling down. I was hurt, but I let her go. Recently, she has started talking to me and says she wants to get back together. I don’t understand why she even left in the first place. I have moved on and not sure if I should take her back. I am so confused. Please advise. Trevor.

Sometimes taking an ex back is a tricky thing to do. However, if you were previously happy, and you are both not seeing other people at the moment, then it seems like your relationship is worth another shot.

Sometimes women do irrational things that they can’t even explain and that doesn’t mean they are out to hurt you.

Maybe she got confused somewhere along the way and she needed some time off to figure out what she really wants. Clearly, she has decided she wants you.

If you still have feelings for her, which I think you do, put the past behind and start afresh. You will be surprised at how a little separation can strengthen the bond between couples.

Unless there is another reason that might have you doubting her intentions of wanting you back, I say go for it.
