Nairobians are a choosy lot, especially those who use matatu as their daily means of transport.
You can count on one hand the number of mathrees which are popular even after being on the road for more than six months.
In this league is Chaotic — which has remained popular on Waiyaki-Way. The mathree has since changed route to Kasarani with same spirit of winning more passengers.
“Initially, our Sacco was strict on use of similar colours and less features, but this latest face-lift has made our mat the most sought mathree. Today, even football fans going as far as Mombasa and Kisumu come to us,” crew member Michael Okomo aka Mika told Ma3 Culture.
The new look Chaotic has huge screens and a cool interior where passengers enjoy great music videos.
