Members of parliament from central Kenya region are tonight promising to
make a very major political statement in Limuru tomorrow. According to
the vice chairman of the central Kenya parliamentary group, Kiraitu
Murungi, leaders from the region will give political direction on which
political party and presidential candidate the region should rally
support for in the coming general elections. Politicians from central
Kenya region are frantically looking for a candidate to stand for
president when president Mwai Kibaki retires from office.
