Family and friends today gathered at the Lang’ata public cemetery in Nairobi for the burial of former television journalist Sarah Wambui Kabiru. At a funeral service held earlier, friends and former workmates eulogized Wambui, praising her for her optimism even in hard times. Wambui, a mother of one, was found dead in her house in Umoja estate on Monday. Her husband Moses Dola, also a journalist, is being held by police in connection with the killing.
