Charles kivondo amechukua jukumu hilo la kutembea kutoka kisumu hadi mombasa akitarajiakwamba atachangisha fedha za kumuwezesha kupata makao mapya mjini muhoroni alikokuwa akiishii kabla ya ghasia za baada ya uchaguzi. Kivondo ambaye amekuwa akiishi kwenye nyumba ya mabanda amesema kuwa matembezi yake yananuia kuchangisha fedha za kulipa madeni anayodaiwa na mabenki tofauti. Akiwa amevalia mavazi yaliyoshonwa kwa bendera ya kenya kivondo alisema kuwa mavazi hayo yanaleta maana ya umoja na kuwataka wakenya kuishi kwa amani na kujiuepusha na ghasia zinazochochewa na wanasiasa
