KCA University has appointed a new Vice Chancellor ending weeks of speculation about the future of that institution.
The Governing Council chairman Fr Fred Matiangi said Prof Noah Midamba is the new VC to serve for three years.
Prof Midamba takes over from Prof Daniel Oruoch who retired in
January.
In the meantime, the institution appointed Prof Rosemary Maina as the senior Deputy Vice Chancellor for three years.
Before the appointment, succession wrangles had hit the university, a move that delayed the appointment of a new Vice-Chancellor.
