Elite Sports Management International (ESMI) director, Hussein Makke, has been re-instated as a Kenyan athletes representative by Athletics Kenya (AK).
In yet another about-turn by the federation, US-based Makke, one of the four agents whose licences were withdrawn on Monday, was authorised to manage Kenyan runners on Thursday a day after launching his appeal.
"Makke was re-instated in a letter from federation secretary, David Okeyo, saying his case had been reviewed and his request for a licence for 2009 granted," an official at Riadha House told FeverPitch.
The ESMI director who represents among others the prodigious world junior champion, Mercy Cherono and marathoner Stephen Kiogora (third, 2007 Boston Marathon), was suspended by AK alongside Chris Gower, Khallil Benhalima and Ian Ladbrooke.
Gower has launched his appeal to the AK Executive Committee while Britain- based Ladbrooke was waiting for official communication before making his next move.
