A glimpse at Rihanna's post-baby fashion

The renowned Pop, RnB, and Hip-Hop artiste Rihanna is celebrated across the world; not just for her chart-topping hits, but also for her fashion sense.

Essence Magazine calls the 34-year-old superstar a "pop icon" in a 2020 report, noting that she has "left the fashion world in a frenzy" on multiple occasions.

"Rihanna broke barriers in 2015 when she became the first-ever Black woman spokesperson for Dior. However, she wasn't new to being the face of a major fashion brand. Just one year before she inspired Olivier Rousteing of Balmain's Spring/Summer collection," the magazine notes.

It adds: "When the Council of Fashion Designers of America dub you a fashion icon, that's what you are. Rihanna received the honour in 2014 and arrived in this stunner, proving that the CFDA knew exactly what they were talking about."

And now that Rihanna has recently received her bundle of joy, an infant son, every public outing by the artiste is a major fashion moment.

"Rihanna gave birth to her son on May 13, 2022, according to TMZ. The couple welcomed a baby boy and a source told Us Weekly that the Fenty Beauty founder would love to bring her little one to her home country (Barbados)," Stylecaster reports.

Riri's first time stepping out post-baby

The celebrated Diamonds singer stepped out two months later, at the start of July.

"The singer was glowing when she stepped out on July 1, accompanying boyfriend A$AP Rocky to a barber shop in the Crystal Palace neighbourhood of London before his show at the Wireless Festival. For the occasion, she wore a black oversized puffy jacket and accessorized her casual chic look with a chunky silver chain necklace and hoop earrings," E Online reports.

Us Weekly reported that the singer was "still fashion forward."

"The "Disturbia" songstress looks like anything but a soccer mom in this feathered coat."

In August, Rihanna was seen going out on a date night with her rapper boyfriend, and she was edgy as ever in a miniskirt and eccentric thigh-high boots.

"Bad gal RiRi is here. Rihanna stepped out wearing a sexy distressed miniskirt and thigh-high heeled boots with boyfriend A$AP Rocky while on a slew of rare date nights after welcoming baby No. 1," Life and Style Magazine reports.

It adds: "Just one day prior, the low-key couple were spotted on another outing together in the city that never sleeps. Rihanna opted for a stunning black ruched minidress and matching crisscross high heels, completing the look with a white long-sleeved shirt to cover up her dress and a pair of black sunglasses. A$AP, however, wore a green and black long-sleeved shirt and distressed charcoal jeans."

Cafe Mom, a parenting blog reports that Rihanna looked ready to party and chic in another all-black look.

"We didn't get many photos of Rihanna out at this party she attended in early September, but the ones we did see are proof that this mama has still got it! From her glam hairstyle to her jewellery and her all-black outfit, she pulled out all the stops for this one."

Elle Magazine reported: "On Friday night, Rihanna stepped out in a black bustier and mini skirt for a date with her boyfriend A$AP Rocky. She wore an oversized black jacket that occasionally slipped off her shoulders, revealing the straps and plunging neckline beneath. She carried a matching black handbag and wore a pair of see-through heels," adding that an assortment of diamond jewellery made the outfit even more glamorous.

First red carpet post-baby

In October, the singer made her first red carpet-appearance after having her son, and it was another spotlight moment for the stylish mum.

"At the premiere of Black Panther 2: Wakanda Forever, Rihanna made post-baby red carpet debut alongside her boyfriend A$AP Rocky, wearing a strapless sequined dress. The greige gown featured an asymmetric ruffle positioned just below her waist and periwinkle piping on the bodice and hem," Instyle magazine wrote.

The magazine added; "She paired the dress with long opera gloves in a similar grey-beige shade and open-toe heels that showed off her white pedicure below. Beauty-wise, Rihanna wore her dark hair in curls swept the side, and teamed a plum lip with shimmering smoky eyes."

In November, the edgy superstar showed off her post-baby body in her Savage X Fenty lingerie shoot.

"Rihanna delivered some of her sultriest looks of all time in a new shoot for her lingerie brand Savage x Fenty this week," The Sun reported.

"The pictures, which were released on Tuesday, showed the mom-of-one posing in a sequined cut-out bodysuit, stockings and suspenders, and high heels."

In December, the superstar stepped out for dinner with her beau, wearing a black maxi dress and eye-catching gold jewellery.
