The Kenya Certificate of Primary Education examination results are set to be released next week.
This will see candidates who sat for the exam receive their results before Christmas and enable parents to start planning for their children's Form One admission.
Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu said no untoward incidents were witnessed during the three-day examination period.
Machogu made the remarks in Kisii during the burial of Yunuke Kebira; mother to Employment and Labour Relations Court Judge Ocharo Kebira.
"We delivered a credible KCPE exam. It was done with integrity. I was not able to supervise exams in every corner of the country but we had put up a system where all officers manning the exams had individual responsibility and accountability."
A total of 1,287,597 candidates were registered for the KPSEA and 1,244,188 candidates for KCPE across 493 examination storage and distribution centres.
During the 2021 KCPE exams, the results were released within 19 days after completion of the tests.
