When it comes to bedroom antics, everyone has different levels of experience.
But regardless of how many people you've slept with, or what tricks you've tried, awkward moments can still occur and mistakes can be made.
This is something that a number of people have been attesting to on social media.
Women have been responding to a question on the Ask Reddit forum, which says: "Women of Reddit, what are some of the biggest mistakes that men do during sex?"
More than 3,000 people replied to the post with women sharing their major turn-offs and men sharing their thoughts on some of them.
A frequent response on the thread was all to do with rapidly changing the pace or position.
One person explained: "When I tell them to keep going and I like it and they start to speed up or change their tempo. I liked it the way it was before."

A second agreed with this statement, saying: "When you tell a man they're doing great and they immediately either start going 20× faster or completely switch up what they are doing lol."
A few men responded admitting to doing this, explaining that this kind of encouragement from their partner was like "sensory overload" for them.
This issue it seems could be due to lack of communication, which was something a different woman commented on, writing: "You could avoid all the mistakes listed here and be doing it completely wrong for your partner. Not all women want the same thing.
"Talk to your partner."
Someone else claimed that overthinking everything is a common problem they've experienced and encouraged people to just relax: "Over-analyze it. Dude, it’s not always going to be seeing stars and s**t. Sometimes, it’s a 10-minute stress releaser and that’s fine."
A different user admitted they get most frustrated by the "the head push" as they would rather do things in their own time when they were "ready/willing".
Other turn-offs included "mimicking what they see in porn" and "not being willing to laugh about things that go wrong".
Finally, a different user stressed the importance of having fun during sex instead of focusing on the end goal.
They said: "Orgasm is not the goal. I want to play and have fun.
"It's probably not going to happen with you the first time or the first few times and I won't be disappointed if I don't."
