Meghan Markle shed a tear during a "bittersweet" farewell to royal staff as she left the UK for Canada yesterday, it has been reported.
Meghan, who became Duchess of Sussex after marrying Prince Harry, bid an emotional goodbye to the royal aides who have worked closely with her family.
But Harry, 35, stayed in Britain to continue working to his longer notice, according to The Telegraph.
He has pledged he will remain dedicated to various causes, including the military.
The couple's final official event saw them attend a Westminster Abbey service.
The event, though, appeared to lay bare the Duke’s strained relationship with members of his family after a series of shock announcements from the Sussexes this year.
Megxit - which it has been dubbed - doesn't officially begin until April 1. However, Meghan, 38, will be in North America with ten-month-old Archie for the rest of this month.

Dressed in green at the final engagement on Monday, Meghan sat with Harry alongside guests at Westminster Abbey - away from the official royal family seating.
And Meghan was seen to mouth “hi” and give an awkward wave to Prince William and Kate Middleton, followed by a “hello”, as the Cambridges took their seat in the High Altar in the row in front of the Sussexes.
After the service, Meghan and Harry appeared to keep their distance from Kate and William, as they met with guests including Anthony Joshua and Craig David.
