Meghan and Harry reportedly enjoyed a Sh.4.3 million three-night 'babymoon' before becoming parents.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are believed to have stayed at the Sh.1.3 million -a-night Long Room of Heckfield Place country house in Hampshire.

A friend of the Duchess said Harry wanted to treat Meghan to a break before their baby is born, reports The Sun.

The mini-break reportedly included romantic walks, cosy fire-lit dinners and luxurious pampering at the posh hotel retreat.

Their apartment is even understood to have had two terraced areas and its own dining room.

A friend told the newspaper: “Meghan is only a couple of weeks away from giving birth, so Harry really wanted to treat her.”

"They wanted total rest and relaxation, and Meghan was really attracted to the organic ethos of the hotel which produces much of its own food on an on-site farm.

“It was very chilled. They went for walks in their wellies, Meghan sat on a love-swing hung from a tree and they ate delicious food."

The reported relaxation break followed Meghan and Harry's move to their new home, Frogmore Cottage in Windsor.

The property is next door to where they had their evening wedding celebrations last year.

Harry and Meghan reportedly hired Vicky Charles, Soho House's top designer, to give their property a makeover.

The designer has previously worked for the pair's friends, George and Amal Clooney, as well as the Beckhams.

Harry and Meghan are reported to have spent thousands soundproofing their home.

ITV's documentary Secrets of the Royal Babies looks at the couple's new home, reporting it was formerly staff accommodation so needed "quite a lot of work".

The cottage had been split into five separate units for the Royal staff so had to be turned back into a home.

The cost of renovation work is said to be in the range of Sh. 396 million (£3 million), with the work carried out by the Sovereign Grant, while Prince Harry and Meghan cover the bill for the interior changes.
