Size 8 gives hope to women undergoing difficulties in their pregnancy

Pregnancy

When you see size 8, you could think that her life is so rosy. You cannot believe that she has gone through depression. The beautiful wife to DJ Mo and mother to the lovely Ladasha Belle experienced complications in her pregnancy. Not only did she experience complications but her mother passed away the day her baby girl was born! Prior to this, her knowing that her mother was in the state she was in led to even more complications as she revealed.

“I wanted a natural birth but I had so many complications in my pregnancy. Pressure ilikuja na pregnancy, ikapanda mtoto karibu atoke. Nikaenda kupimwa it was 178 ndio they told me they can’t let me go because after 160 it’s dangerous.”

“They induced me because I was insisting I wanted a natural birth. So ikakataa kabisa. I was feeling pain but sina hata nguvu. Hiyo pressure ilikuwa imenimaliza nguvu. Niko in pain but si dilate. Heartbeat ya mtoto inateremka chini. I was forced to go for a CS and cried as I didn’t want a CS.”

Though it was totally against her will, she was left with no option as her baby’s heart rate was dropping as the umbilical cord was wrapped around her neck. This decision saved both their lives. Truly Ladasha was a fighter from the time she was in the womb until after she was born. Size 8’s blood pressure complications resulted in her being born while underweight specifically 1.7 kgs.”

Size 8 is a really strong woman. We can only imagine the strength she had to carry on after experiencing such pain. We are glad she made it through and we hope that her story gives hope and encouragement to any woman who is experiencing complications in her pregnancy
