I’m pregnant with my soon to be ex-husband’s baby. He already has a new girlfriend. How do I tell him, and when should I do it?
I’m only around six weeks’ pregnant at the moment, so do you think I should wait a few weeks to see if the pregnancy continues? I know the first trimester is generally a risky time. Or should I tell him right away? I’m confused.

OK, you’ve decided to keep the baby, so I think you should tell him. However, before you do, you need to think carefully about what outcome you’re hoping for and prepare yourself for his reaction.
If you’re hoping that it’ll mean a reconciliation then, in all likelihood, you’re going to be disappointed.
The bottom line is, don’t tell him with any expectations, other than you are going to bring up the child on your own.
Hopefully, he will want to contribute and be in the child’s life.
