What do you call your car?

I call it osiepa — which means my friend in Luo. I call it that because it takes care of me and I take care of it.

Do you have accessories in your car that bring out some individuality and style?

Yes I do. I changed the music system, the car is deeply tinted, it always smells of vanilla scent and it has low profile tyres for stability.

What do you love most about your car?

It is a respected car and even matatus give me way. I also love how fast it gains speed because I am not exactly slow on the road.

Approximately how much do you spend on your car in a month?

I spend about Sh15,000 on fuel, and when it comes to servicing the same amount.

Do you know how to change a tyre?

Oh yes I do!  I never used to know but after my car broke down along Thika Road, I was forced to learn the hard way.

Are you a manual or automatic kind of girl, and why?

An automatic makes life easier.

Are you a speed hog?

Yes I am a major speed hog but with a lot of caution. I have friends who have vowed never to ask me for a lift again.

What is your most annoying pet peeve on the road?

I hate people who do not use indicators when turning or changing lanes. It really annoys me!

What one thing have you learnt about cars?

I never used to check water and coolant until the day my radiator blew up and I had to get a new one for about Sh60,000.

What is your favourite place to drive your car and why?

I love the Loitoktok Road. It is good and there are not many cars, so I get to drive at 160km/hr.

What advice would you give a new car owner?

Treat your car well and it will serve you right.

What is your dream car?

 A white Range Rover Vogue.
