Managing thinning hair

You may be having sleepless night due to your thinning hair, or even finding it difficult to decide on a good hairstyle since your hair has no volume. So how do you go about it?

Colour

The first thing that even your hairdresser will suggest is colour. The dark shade of your hair makes it look even thinner. Go for a lighter shade; this way, your scalp will be less visible and instill a feeling of more hair volume.

Layering

The more layers on your hair, the thicker it looks.  Let the top have maximum layers. With top layers cut shorter, it will easily look thicker with the other layers beneath it. Once you have layered, avoid partitioning your hair at the centre and comb upwards to hide your diminishing hairline.

Shampoo

Many products are available in the market that will help you attain the million volume hair look. A volumnising shampoo and conditioner will also offer the same effect and make your hair look really thick.

Bob cut

If you love short hair, go for the chin-length bob cut. This way, you will acquire a new look and hide those extra fine strands. Maintenance for a bob cut is less, since you don’t have to use many products. It also gives you the illusion of a thicker hair.

Weaving

You have tried everything else and none seems to be satisfactory; it’s time to weave. This way, you can cover most of the loss with patches similar to your hair texture.  Consider the cost of weaving before you go for it. The cost will vary depending on the quality of the weave you use.
