What side jobs / hustles did you do before becoming Mr Laikipia, an image consultant and a fashion stylist?
I was a runway model and an attendant at a movie shop and cyber café. I also did a lot of hustles before that which included being a tout operating along the Githurai 45 route.
What is the vibe like trying to balance between being commercial and passionate in what you do?
It is really crazy but I get to learn new things daily. My passion has propelled me to being commercial where I've met so many brands. This has helped me in building a strong foundation for my pursuits.
Why did you choose to be a sartorialist? I have always been a diehard of suits. Whenever I wore a suit back in the day, at least 20 people would complement my look. The positive feedback I received made me more passionate about fashion, leading me to design suits.
Who are your suit clients? I often suit up groomsmen, lawyers, advocates and celebrities such as Khaligraph Jones and Noti Flow.
What do you like best about being a model and an entrepreneur? I get to learn a lot from both pursuits since the two are closely related. Restricting myself to fashion has also enabled me to find a niche that I feel comfortable navigating for the sole purpose of creating authentic products.

If you were to choose between being a model, an image consultant, a fashion stylist and a sartorialist which one would you pick? I would settle for being a model not because it is the easiest but because you get paid for looking good.
What suit tips can you offer the typical gentleman? Always get your suit tailored to fit and do not over accessorize your suit. A good watch and a belt matching the shoes make good accessories for most official suits whereas a hat coupled with loafers complete a semi casual suit. Moreover, always strive to understand which colors are in tune with your skin complexion.
You seem to have it all figured out. You put up posts of the moves you make on your social media handles but no romantic stuff so, are you single?
Hahaha... Actually I am not single. About having it all figured out, I actually don't. I write down my plans and strategies then work towards executing them.
How did you deal with your first heartbreak and how long ago was it?
It has been a minute since my first heartbreak before I met the Queen I am dating considering that a man of my calibre meets and kisses many frogs before finding the one.
When cooking at home, do you follow recipes?
No! I love cooking and I am a good cook because as a first born, I have cooked for my siblings since I was ten years old and none of them ever fell ill. I also enjoy cooking for my Woman.
What is your deal breaker when it comes to dating? A woman with no self-respect and no class. I also consider noisy ladies as intolerable.
Name one thing that you would not go an hour and a day without? No hour can pass without me thinking about my sartorial business and I would not last a day without my phone.
What is your most embarrassing moment?
Being laughed at by the judges at my first runway audition after they told me that I had no chance of ever becoming a model.
In another life, what would you be?
I would venture into agribusiness.
Have you ever knowingly broken the law?
Haha... Well let's just say that some laws need to be revised. We are in the 21st century.
What are you not afraid to do?
I am not afraid of doing anything.
What have you learnt throughout life?
Self-belief is weak without execution.
