Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz is revelling at his reunion with baby mama Zari Hassan, daughter Nillan,5, and son Prince Nillan,3, after two years apart following their departure to South Africa as a consequence of his breakup with the Ugandan mother of five in February 2018.

Photos and videos shared by Platnumz’s mother, Sanura Kassim, captured the star warmly interacting and bonding with his children after a grand reception by the singer at the Julius Nyerere International Airport. A sweet moment that almost caused commotion at the largest airport in Tanzania as the media and their fans struggled to get their attention, reminiscent of her 2019 arrival for charity work with a diaper company she represented as brand ambassador.

So, is Zari back with the Wasafi honcho? Not by a long shot, according to the 40-year-old businesswoman and influencer. “There is a whole lot of things happening on social media lakini, for me, I just brought the kids because their father wants to see them na hakuweza kukuja kwasababu, I think, he got lots of things lined-up for him. He really wanted to see the kids. It’s been two years. We’re co-parenting and even if he got somebody, I can still come because it’s home for the kids regardless of what happened between us. A lot of people are saying we gotten back (but) no I’m just here for the kids.”
