Youths should learn to say NO to politicians who incite them to violence

The erstwhile political season is fast approaching. Political hypocrisy is taking a completely new dimension.

The importance of young people in the coming process has taken centre stage as politicians fall over themselves to pledge allegiance to the youth.

The youth crescendo has gone viral. We are a scarce surplus I realise, a precious lot and darling to the power hungry.

We are this nation's most valued asset politically and most feared liability economically. We are shock absorbers to almost every problem troubling our society; perennial victims of unemployment, illiteracy in a professionally and academically galloping world, crime and drug abuse.

The big question is, behind the hue and cry, do we have a proper thesis and a clear framework on how we are going to navigate through the raging tumultuous waters and dock safely without drowning?

Our force is beyond reproach. Say No to any politician who wants to use you for violence.
