Over 100,000 locals facing starvation in Kwale as mosques and schools face closure

About 100,000 locals are facing starvation with 70 per cent of dams in Kinango in Kwale county being reportedly dry.

Mosques and schools face closure due to lack of water with Muslims forced to use soil for cleaning their bodies before prayer.

Also affected are livestock after the failure of long rain in the area.
