Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga in Tight Race for State House.

President Uhuru Kenyatta would garner 48% of the votes against NASA’s presidential candidate Raila Odinga’s 43% if elections were held today. The other candidates would get less than 1% of the votes each, according to the new survey.

Infotrak Research and Consulting, which conducted survey, also said that eight percent of Kenyans are still undecided, only 38 days to the August 8 general elections.

The survey also presented Jubilee party as the most popular in the country with 47 per cent as compared to National Super Alliance’s 43 percent.

50 per cent of 2,000 respondents involved in the survey feel that the country is headed to the wrong direction.

The poll further says that high cost of living, food security and unemployment are some of the priority issues that Kenyans would like the next government to address. The poll was conducted in 29 counties for the period between 24th and 27th June.
