Bodies of two men were on Wednesday, November 23, recovered from Ngong River near Mukuru Kayaba slums in Nairobi County.
Nairobi County Police Commander Adamson Bungei said the unidentified bodies have been moved to the City Mortuary.
"Area residents had alerted authorities of the bodies in the river. The fire response team visited the scene and retrieved the remains. We've launched investigations into their deaths," Bungei told The Standard.
The city police chief suspects that the two men were killed elsewhere and their bodies dumped in the river.
