Tanzanian musical big wig Diamond Platinumz has added his voice on the issue of femininity and beauty saying  that he does not mind women who go to any lengths to ensure they look good.

“It is important for a woman to maintain her brand even if it means spending much more on her hair and make up in order to look good,” said Diamond to SDE.

A sentiment that was also echoed by various local artists; Timmy Datt, Jaguar, Daddy Owen and Vicmass Luodollar.

“ I don’t mind a woman donning fake hair as long as they are done with taste and tact making her look decent and good,” said Timmy Datt.

Daddy Owen was categorical, “It is ones character that matters… the rest ni vanity.”

“ I believe a female should focus on the hairstyle that makes her happy and best expresses her style, personality, and creativity, said Jaguar.

Vicmass Luodollar capped it all up, “We are living in a post modern world where everyone is entitled to do what pleases them as long as it does not impact negatively on others.”

There comments follows recent debates on African women wearing weaves, lace, hair extensions and wigs other than their natural hair.
