Premier League footballers love tattoos. Over the years, more and more top-flight stars have been covering themselves in ink, to the point where it's now a surprise if a rich footballer DOESN'T have tats all over him.

However, this has created a problem. With tattoos no longer shocking, Premier League players are now having to come up with increasingly outrageous bits of body art to stand out from the crowd.

We thought Liverpool's Alberto Moreno had really pushed the tattoo thing as far as it could go when we saw this monstrosity.

However, as we feared, it seems this is just part of a worrying trend.

A trend that was confirmed when we saw another weird bit of ink at The Emirates, during Arsenal's 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace.
