Kitui, Kenya: Governor Julius Malombe has met and held talks with Japanese businessmen and investors on the possibilities and opportunities of investing in various sectors within the county.
In a series of meetings held at the Kenyan embassy in Tokyo, Japan, Dr Malombe met scores of Japanese businessmen with a variety of interests in renewable energy from solar and wind power as well as the manufacturing, construction, motor vehicles merchandise, health, education and research sectors.
Among the key investors who met the governor were Toyota Tshusho Corporation Africa team leader Satoshi Akiyama, whose firm is popular for the Toyota vehicles found all over Kenya, and GJK International Company that has interests in solar and wind energy.
