Gor Semelang'o is the Youth Enterprise Fund boss
With a private jet assigned to him by a Nigerian tycoon, a business friend, flamboyant wealthy Kenyan investor Gor Semelang’o rocked Lagos last week, striking oil deals, his new investment venture.
MondayBlues has exclusive insight on the Youth Enterprise Development Fund boss’ Nigerian business outing during which he met a group of high profiled investors in international oil dealings.
Upon arriving at Murtala Muhammed International Airport located in Ikeja, Lagos State, under heavy security, Gor was escorted to a waiting private jet and flown to the tycoon’s resident where he met the investors, MondayBlues can confirm.
“Yes, it is true I was in Nigeria on a business venture,” Gor told MondayBlues on Saturday, steering off details on the last week’s visit.
“As the youth fund leader, who is at the frontline crusading for youth investment, I want to lead by example. I am expanding my business empire,” he remarked.
Asked if he planned to aquire the private jet, Gor said it simply belonged to the Nigerian tycoon, profiled among the richest people in Africa.
“It was a personal private trip. The jet flight was a treat. They are used to that down there,” he remarked. “It had nothing to do with my government job.”
