There are more political re-alignments to be expected before the March 2013 General elections. This is a common saying that has no doubt started prevailing.
The moving out of Charity Ngilu, Rachel Shebesh, Lorna Laboso, just to mention the ladies from ODM preaches more of this. The fact that all these are women politicians is not as important as their great political influence. I am optimistic that they will carry their followings to their new parties.
PM Raila Odinga, ODM's leader has always been known for his radical political tactics that have, in most cases, worked. Now he shall be forced to replace the spaces that have been left by defectors and heavyweights like Musalia, Ruto, Balala and their allies.
Though Raila has brought in the likes of Gitobu Imanyara, Amos Wako, the much talked of Maina Njenga I not convinced with the replacements.
I can easily compare them to Arsene Wenger’s (Arsenal FC coach) replacement of Robin van Persie with Marrouane Chamakh especially when there are no crosses for him to head in. It is not because the Moroccan cannot score, in fact he has ever done it, but his probability of doing so is 5% compared to van Persie's 65%.
How I wish 'Agwambo' could be able to identify the Podolskis, Carzolas and maybe the Girouds.
