Baba na mwanawe mwenye umri wa miaka 11 asubuhi ya 23/11/2011 walipigwa risasi na kuuawa na polisi katika mtaa wa kawangware kitendo kilichosababisha maandamano makuu huku wakazi wa mtaa huo wakikashifu vikali mauji hayo. Mauji hayo ya kutatanisha yalitokea mwendo wa saa kumi asubuhi kwa kile polisi wanadaiwa walikuwa wakiitikia mwito wa dharura. Lakini wakazi wa mtaa huo wanasisitiza wawili hao walikuwa njiani kuelekea soko la gikomba kununua mboga ambazo baadaye wao huziuza mtaani humo. Uchunguzi umeanzishwa kubaini kiini cha mauaji hayo.
