My word- Who else is with me?

I'm a woman. There's no doubt about it. I have also been made to believe that I have all it takes to be a super mum, super partner and all the super things any woman living in our times can be.

Not that I don't believe in myself, but at times it takes another person to remind you of what you already know.

This week, a colleague sent me a message on WhatsApp titled 'Hello hardworking mama' and I was a little tempted to hit the erase button even before reading through like I do to many messages but one line caught my attention and I read it to the last word.

One person I thought about after reading the text was my mum. Some times, I doubt whether her cubs have what it takes to fill her shoes when that time comes.

I'm sure many of my age mates and most women out there know what I mean. I wonder if I would be the same woman my mum is if I was born in her days.

We are living in very interesting times and I must admit some times I'm awed and blown away by our capacity to handle and find solutions to some of the problems we encounter as young wives and mums.

For instance, would you ever consider having an open relationship with your partner if you woke up one day and realised the fire is no more? Would you also consider using sex toys to make things a little spicier in the bedroom?
