Prince Harry might face a possible telling-off from the Queen when he returns to the UK, according to reports.

Royal aides are said to be preparing for the Duke of Sussex to visit and staff have reportedly been told to get Frogmore Cottage ready.

The Queen, who returned to work this week, could speak face-to-face with her grandson on castle grounds.

An insider said even though Harry would have to self-isolate for two weeks if he returns from the US, "the estate is large enough for talks in a socially distanced way".

A source told The Sun: “Staff at Windsor have been told to prepare for the possibility Harry could come back.

“They are told that it could be within weeks but Meghan’s name was not mentioned.

"There are all sorts of issues to speak about - not only his political statements but also his visa situation in the US."

It comes as Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were branded the least eco-friendly royals by an energy company in a scathing report.

Save on Energy  has come up with a points-based scoring system, ranking members of the Royal Family from most to least eco-friendly.

It said it has based its rating on travel footprint, how many environmental charities they support, their attendance at environmental events, how sustainable their wardrobes are, how many of their social media posts cite environmental issues, and whether they use electric cars.

The company has named the Duke and Duchess of Sussex as joint last for how eco-friendly they are.

"Despite having been awarded points for owning an electric car and Meghan’s loyalty to sustainable fashion brands, Harry and Meghan engaged considerably less than others with environmental charities and engagements between March 2019 and 2020, which hinders their score," it said.

Prince Charles was given the title of the most eco-friendly, followed by Camilla and then Prince Philip.
