Chadwick Boseman will remain a legend for time to come. The Black Panther star’s death came as a shock although he had been battling colon cancer for four years.
Having graduated from Howard University, Boseman started out as a writer and director and he even taught. Aside from Black Panther and the Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers Endgame, he also featured in movies such as 21 Bridges and Netflix’s Da 5 Bloods. Although these are his most recent roles, Boseman also had appearances in a number of TV series like All My Children, Law and Order, ER, etc.
Boseman’s T’Challa role as well as the Wakanda Forever salute became synonymous with Black empowerment.
Even as we mourn the loss of this great actor, who was instrumental in the normalising of Black superheroes through the Black Panther movie, we can’t help but acknowledge what a great actor he was.
