Iconic actress and fashionista Tracee Ellis Ross last night received the Fashion Icon Award at E!’s People’s Choice Award.

In her acceptance speech during the award show, the Black-ish actress thanked her mum, music legend Diana Ross, for “her sense of style, her epic closet, sense of glamour that introduced me to the power of fashion.”
The Girlfriends star encouraged fashion lovers to “suit up and show up” using fashion, be it new or secondhand, as a way to express their creativity.
