Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and Archie have wished the Queen happy birthday via video call.

The Sussex family, who are living in LA, chatted to the monarch over the phone this afternoon.

The Queen has been speaking to all of her loved ones virtually as she's not able to see them due to the coronavirus lockdown.

Aides were said to be organising a big family Zoom call so they would all catch up on the special day.

Last year, Harry was with his grandmother on her birthday as he joined the rest of the Royal Family at an Easter church service in Windsor. Meghan, who was heavily pregnant at the time, did not attend.

However this year her normal celebrations have been cancelled, including the traditional gun salute, due to Covid-19.

Last week, Harry and Meghan were spotted in LA for the first time as they handed out food parcels to vulnerable people who are self-isolating due to coronavirus.

The couple wore face masks and gloves as they dropped off packages on behalf of the Los Angeles-based nonprofit Project Angel Food.

They were casually dressed in jeans, t-shirts, baseball caps and trainers when they arrived at the Sierra Bonita Community Apartments in West Hollywood.

The people they were delivering to had no warning of their famous helpers, and have revealed the kind words the couple said before handing over the food.

They delivered food to two residents, including Daniel Tyrell, 53, who came down from his fourth-floor apartment to pick up the delivery at the main entrance.

Daniel, who has HIV and issues with high blood pressure, said: “My phone rang and a lady said, ‘Hi this is Meghan from Project Angel Food.’

“I said, ‘Oh, do you want to meet me downstairs?’

“I didn’t realise it was THE Meghan at this point.

“So I walked down the external staircase and I saw the two black SUVs on the road outside so I knew there was something going on.

“I went down to the front door to let them in.

“I recognised him first because of his reddish hair.

“Then I looked at her and put it together.

“Harry didn’t introduce himself or anything.

“They both said here’s the food and thank you, hope you’re well and that you’re fine.

“They handed the food over and I said thank you, too.

“I didn’t let on about it, I didn’t want to make them uncomfortable or anything."

The couple arrived in their black SUV and were followed by another car containing their protection officers.
