Today is International Women’s Day, an annual celebration of women’s rights. Contrary to popular belief, femininity is not a sign of weakness, it is a powerful gift to women that only a female can perfect.

Both genders have their strengths and weaknesses but each should be proud of each of their unique characteristics. As a woman, you should be proud of your feminine prowess. Embrace it and use it to level up your feminine energy!

Below are four daily practices that will help you enhance your feminine energy.

As a strong, feminine woman, you should not wait for other people to validate you (Shutterstock)
  1. Personal hygiene

This is a given but personal hygiene is a major key in enhancing your feminine energy. Putting your best foot forward will never fail you in any situation, be it a professional setting or a casual scenario.

Ensure that you do the basics such as showering daily, brushing your teeth twice a day and washing your hair frequently. Doing so will have you looking and feeling your best. You should do this for your own gratification and not for the validation of anyone else.

  1. Kindness

Being more feminine includes being humble. Some life situations will call you to rise above them and be the bigger person. Just imagine how much strength is required to fight evil with kindness. That is why femininity is not a trait of weakness.

Treating other people the same way you would want them to treat you is a sure way of enhancing your feminine energy. View this as you radiating a little bit of sunshine in somebody else’s dark life.

  1. Good posture

The popular quote, “Chin up princess, your crown is falling”, should be your daily reminder of the strength and power that you possess as a woman. Good posture has a positive impact on your self-esteem, making you feel more secure, authoritative and enthusiastic.

When you sit up and stand straight, with a lifted chin, you look and feel more feminine and attractive. Doing so will also make other people treat you with respect since you’ll come off as a secure and self-aware woman.

  1. Self-love

Nobody is perfect and we all have unique qualities that make us special. As a strong, feminine woman, you should not wait for other people to validate you. You are whole and complete with or without the approval of anybody else.

Learn to be kinder to yourself and remember that you’re the only version of yourself that will ever exist. Practising self-love will make you appear more confident, which is another powerful trait of a feminine woman. Just remember not to put other people down as you embark on your journey of self-love.
