Wife brutally publicly shames cheating husband - but some say she's gone too far

A devastated woman took drastic measures to publicly shame her husband after discovering he cheated on her.

The anonymous woman got her revenge by spray painting a message on their mattress - and it wasn't pleasant.

In the message she explains what he's allegedly done and says she's told their children everything.

While some have praised her bold step, others are worried she's gone too far.

The message, written in red paint, reads: "I changed the locks [his name]. Take the bed to [her name]'s house.

"I’m divorcing you. I told the kids what you did in our bed and they don’t love daddy anymore."

But it's not just the neighbours who saw the damning message.

She also shared a picture of the damage to a Reddit thread anonymously, titled "Let's bring the kids to this".

But users were divided by whether she did the right thing.

Many people called out her husband's behaviour, with one person saying: "Why don’t the kids deserve to know that someone important in their life is a bad person. I mean I wouldn't tell them details, but if they already know what sex is, they should know that their father did something wrong."

A second agreed: "The kids deserve to know why their family is getting split apart. Obviously you have to cater somewhat to their age, but kids are smarter than we give them credit for".

But not everyone is in favour of the impulsive revenge.

One person said: "This is anger and hurt in action before thinking."

And another said: "Shaming your partner for cheating is fine in my book but your kids deserve to have a good relationship with their dad, not have him slandered for something that had nothing to do with them".

Whilst others were more interested in how neat her handwriting was.

"It actually looks like she wrote the first sentence, took 5 to chill her beans, then came back with the 2nd wave in an even more frantic mood, just going off the width of the lettering alone."

And a graffiti artist even commented on the "amateur job": "As a graffiti artist, I can tell you that’s not practiced at all, lol. It's an amateur job, mostly by the lettering.

“But her consistency for line width is better than average, the only reason I see for the words in the first two lines being blurry, is because the writer is shorter, and they couldn’t get good can control standing on their tip toes. Not the work of an experienced vandal, but maybe this isn’t the first husband she’s had to evict with such flair, so she’s written on a mattress or two before.”
