1. Helps Prevent Indigestion

If you plan on indulging in foods that you know may not sit well in your stomach, sip some ACV before you start eating.

Take a teaspoon of honey and a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar and add them to a glass of warm water. Sip on this mixture at least 30 minutes before you eat and you are sorted. To reverse a bloated tummy or even a heart burn, pour two teaspoons of ACV into a glass of warm water and add a teaspoon of baking soda. Mix well and drink immediately.

2. Dandruff Treatment

Take 1/4 cup of apple cider vinegar and 1/4 cup of water and put them in a spray bottle. Spray this on your scalp, wrap your head in a towel and wait for 15 minutes to an hour.

After the time lapses, wash your hair. The acidity in apple cider vinegar will change the pH of your scalp making it difficult for yeast to grow. You can do this twice a week for the best results.

If you have a stomach upset, simply mix some apple cider vinegar with water and take it. If you are experiencing diarrhea due to a bacterial infection, the antibiotic properties of apple cider vinegar will help. ACV is also believed to have pectin which helps soothe intestinal spasms.

Apple cider vinegar contains acetic acid which helps increase metabolism and reduces appetite and water retention. This makes it effective in helping lose weight. It also regulates the digestion of starch in the body meaning fewer calories enter the bloodstream.

If you feel the onset of a sore throat, simply mix a 1/4 cup of apple cider vinegar with a 1/4 cup of warm water and gargle on an hourly basis. The acidic nature of the apple cider vinegar will kill off any germs that may be causing the infection.
