Dear Roxanne, I have been dating my boyfriend for eight months now and it has been a wonderful relationship.
He is a really great guy and treats me very well. The only thing that concerns me about our relationship is that he never lets me spend the night at his place.

He should be honest and tell you the reason why he feels uncomfortable having you spend the night at his place.
Maybe he just doesn’t like sleeping with someone and prefers having the bed all to himself.
However, the most common reason why men don’t like women to spend at their places is the fear of commitment. Spending the night means the relationship is progressing to another level.
Sleeping next to each other is more intimate than actually having sex.
Most men usually get over this fear eventually, but it is important to get it out in the open so you can know exactly what you are dealing with.
For now, don’t push it, as this might make him retreat even further into his cave. He will feel like you are forcing him into it.
