The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has denied reports that there have been changes in the staff at the commission.

Recent reports had indicated that the IEBC director for ICT James Muhati was on September 1st sent on a compulsory leave by the commission.

This was following accusations that he had refused to cooperate in the audit of ICT systems.

The reports further stated that the decision to oust him was reached at the plenary meeting chaired by chairman Wafula Chebukati and attended by all commissioners and CEO Ezra Chiloba.

The reports had also indicated that Ezra Chiloba had been sent home.
