Chief Justice Willy Mutunga names five-judge bench to hear Lapsset case

Kenya: The Chief Justice Willy Mutunga has appointed High Court Principal Judge Richard Mwongo to preside over a five -judge bench to hear a petition seeking to stop the government from proceeding with the Lamu Port Southern Sudan-Ethiopia Transport (LAPSSET) project.

The other judges appointed to hear the multi-billion case are Justices Isaac Lenaola, Mumbi Ngugi, George Odunga and Joseph Onguto.
