Women Premier League second leg resumes this weekend after three-week delay with six matches on the cards.

There will be three matches today with Soccer Queens hosting Mombasa Olympics at Ruaraka stadium in a Zone A clash.

In Zone B, Mumias-based Wadada will face zone league leaders Oserian Ladies at Mumias Complex while Vihiga Leeds will take on Nyamira Starlets at Mumias Complex.

Tomorrow, Mombasa Olympic of Zone A will play against defending champions Thika Queens at BAT Grounds while Soccer Sisters who had a rough ride in the first leg and posted only a point will host a rejuvenated Makolanders at Camp Toyoyo Grounds.

There will be only one match in Zone B where second-placed Vihiga Queens will labour against Eldoret Falcons at Mumias Complex.

There have been complaints from some coaches who say that they will not honour the fixtures because some players are in Uganda for national team duties.

“The fixture is out and the federation has proven that they only care about the national team. They don’t care about the league,” a coach, who sought anonymity, said.
