Nairobi, Kenya: Judicial Service Commission Wednesday appointed Kakai Kissinger as the Acting Chief Registrar of the Judiciary.

The post fell vacant following the dismissal of Gladys Shollei for what the JSC termed as insurbodination and sideshows.

Chief Justice Willy Mutunga said the post will be filled in due course.

“The Judicial Service Commission will fill the position of Chief Registrar of the Judiciary competitively after advertisement,” said Mutunga in a statement.

Kissinger has been the deputy chief registrar of the Judiciary since December 2011.
