MP enlists bloggers to arm-twist managers of Government institution

By Standard Reporter | Jan 30th 2019 | 1 min read

An MP who was recently rescued from political doldrums has listed the service of bloggers to malign and arm-twist top managers of a State institution in Luo Nyanza.

The politician is said to be pushing to have his people at helm of the institution so as to have his hands in the public coffer, having gone broke after a protracted political contest.

The man is reported to have used similar antics in the past and succeeded in planting his people, whom he later manipulated for his individual gain.

One of the former top officers was hauled from the office and dragged from one court to another over corruption allegations.

The Grapevine has, however, learnt that things are not looking up for the man as most of his colleagues in Parliament have realized he was out to ruin the State corporation, which is one of the main source of livelihood to the very people he represents.

He has since been isolated by some of his former allies, including an MP who pulled all the stops to resuscitate his political life that had dramatically dwindled.
