Shot Kinangop teen was waiting for KCSE results

Kinangop, Kenya: The 19-year-old boy shot dead during last week’s demonstration against the 61mw Kinangop Wind Park, was among thousands of candidates waiting for their KCSE results.

However, for Peter Kamau Maina’s family, yesterday’s release of the 2014 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education results by Education Cabinet Secretary Prof Jacob Kaimenyi meant nothing for it was the day his remains were interred.
