European football: Strongest transfer rumours so far

The European summer transfer window comes with a lot of expectation from the football faithful especially in terms of who their respective teams are after and if they can get deals over the line.

Some clubs usually impress in their transfer business while others disappoint. In the previous summer window, Liverpool impressed by striking some high-profile deals including Fabinho from Monaco and Naby Keita from Leipzig.

Tottenham, however, didn't do any transfer business. Disappointed fans took to social media and compared themselves to their neighbours and rivals Arsenal who had managed to pull off a couple of amazing deals.

As European Leagues approach the homestretch, transfer speculation is already driving netizens crazy. Barcelona have already snapped Frankie de Jong from Ajax while Juventus have their first catch in the name of free agent Aaron Ramsey from Arsenal.

Dybala, Salah swap

Italian giants Juventus have been linked with a swap deal involving Liverpool hotshot Mohamed Salah and youngster Paulo Dybala.

It was reported last month that the Old lady had tabled a massive 44m pounds plus Dybala for Salah. The story has re-surfaced this week with Italian media claiming that the Turin based side are still interested.

 

Ander Herrera to PSG

Perennial French champions Paris St. Germain are set to make a dramatic approach for the signature of Manchester United midfield maestro Ander Herrera.

The Spaniard's contract with the Red Devils runs out at the end of the season and is yet to commit to the club. The Frenchmen are reported to be keeping an eye on the situation and plan to swoop for a free transfer if he fails to agree to terms with United.

 

Sancho to Man United

Manchester United have reportedly stepped up their pursuit of Borussia Dortmund English-forward Jadon Sancho amid interest from other European giants.

English media claim United have already met with the youngster's representatives over a lucrative summer transfer with the winger interested in returning home.

His Dortmund exploits earned him a place in the senior England squad this international break and starred in a 5-0 England rout in the Euro 2020 Qualifiers.

 

Callum Hudson-Odoi to Bayern/Liverpool/Dortmund

According to British media, Liverpool have entered the race to sign Chelsea youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi. The entry of the Reds brings the number of clubs after the winger to three with Bayern and Dortmund reportedly interested.

Bundesliga Champions Bayern had a 35m pound bid knocked back by Chelsea last winter, with the London outfit stressing on their intention to keep the winger. The youngster hasn't started a premier league game this season but has impressed in the Europa League and FA Cup.

 

Hazard and Felipe Anderson to Real Madrid

Spanish giants Real Madrid are reportedly planning a move for West Ham's Felipe Anderson, should their number one target Eden Hazard's deal stalls.

European publications understand that Chelsea have already rejected an offer of around 60m pounds from the Spaniards and could be holding on for a double-figure offer.

The Belgian is out of contract next June and has reportedly turned down several offers for a new deal. However, with the transfer ban in the picture at the Bridge, Chelsea may choose to splash the cash on a mega deal to keep Hazard.

 

Trippier to Everton and wan-Bissaka to Tottenham

English side Everton have shown interest in Spurs' fullback Kieran Trippier as Mauricio Pochettino eyes a move for Crystal Palace rising star Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

It has been reported that the Merseyside-based side are considering tabling 20m pounds for the Spurs star who is under contract until 2022. Tottenham are looking for a double sale to fund the likely-expensive Bissaka deal.

 

De Ligt to Barcelona

Barcelona are set to meet with teenage Matthjs De Ligt's Camp as they line up a 64m pound move. The Spanish giants hope to beat a host of clubs that are after the teenage defender whom they see as a natural replacement for Ageing Gerard Pique.

 

Nuno Espirito Santo/Lampard to Chelsea

Chelsea is reportedly considering a move for either Wolves manager Nuno Espirito Santo or former player and Derby County coach Frank Lampard.

The two are being lined up to replace under-fire Maurizio Sarri after a poor run of results in his first season at the club. The London outfit missed out on Zinedine Zidane who returned to his old club Real Madrid.

 

Koulibaly to Man United

Reports flying around in Europe claim that Manchester United have been quoted a price for Europe's most sought after defender Kalidou Koulibaly of Napoli.

The Red Devils Will have to smash their transfer record to land the highly-rated defender as they are required to pay 130m pounds to tempt Napoli into parting ways with their crown jewel.

 

Pogba to Real Madrid

Reports in Spain claim that Pogba is on the radar of Spanish giants Real Madrid after Zidane return. The Bernabeu-based club is said to be bent on a squad overhaul that is set to kick off in the summer.

 

Coutinho Barca exit

Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu splashed a club record fee of £142 million on Liverpool playmaker Philippe Coutinho, and it's looking like a losing bet. That leaves the Brazilian staring at Barcelona exit, but he is reportedly ready to fight for his place at the Camp Nou.

 

Man United eyeing Portuguese trio

Manchester United are planning a £250m Portuguese raid as they eye talented young trio Joao Felix, Ruben Dias and Bruno Fernandes.

Solskjaer seems to be interested in young talent to replace the likes of Antonio Valencia, Ashley Young and other stars who are running out of playing time at Old Trafford.
