Manchester United are in negotiations to sign Mexican winger Hirving Lozano, his club Pachuca has claimed.
The 20-year-old has hit 33 goals in 122 appearances so far, and is now being heavily linked with a switch to Old Trafford.
Pachuca say talks are underway, but that no deal has been struck yet.
"Already there is negotiations with that team [United]? Yes," president Andre Fassi told ESPN. "There is still nothing closed though."
Lozano would become Jose Mourinho's fourth summer signing following the arrivals of Eric Bailly, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
Meanwhile, United are ready to make Paul Pogba the world's first £100million player.
That is according to the Daily Mail, who say the Frenchman is on Jose Mourinho's wishlist, and the Special One is willing to break the bank to get his man.
Following the arrival of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Pogba would further underline United's desire to get back among the world's elite despite missing out on Champions League football last term.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Eric Bailly have also arrived at the club so far this summer.
