MPs to block planned motion against Energy Cabinet Secretary Charles Keter

Limo and his Belgut counterpart Erik Keter vowed that they would block any attempts to impeach Energy Cabinet Secretary (CS) Charles Keter over allegation of breaking civil servants code of conduct.

Kipkelion legislator Joseph Limo and his Belgut counterpart, Erick Keter have vowed to block any attempt to impeach Energy Cabinet Secretary Charles Keter.

Keter is under probe by the Independent, Electoral and Boundaries Commission for allegedly meddling in the Kericho by-election.

Speaking in Kericho town, Mr Limo said: “There is no law that bars the CS from expressing his opinion”.

A section of Rift Valley leaders, led by Nandi Hills Alfred Keter, said they would draft and table impeachment motion against the CS.
